IT Equipment-Procurement Guidelines Issued

IT Department issued detailed instructions for implementing a Centralized Procurement System for the purchase of commonly used hardware items such as desktops laptops printer scanner etc. All departments and Local Self Govt institutions were instructed to follow the guidelines strictly.

Regional SARAS Fair 2019 at Kunnamkulam, Thrissur

It has been decided to organize the 2nd SARAS Fair 2018-19 at Kunnakulam, Thrissur from 28 th March to 7 th April 2019 as a joint programme of Ministry of Rural Development, Kudumbasree and District / Block / Grama Panchayats of Thrissur.

Reservation for Economically Weaker Section-Directions Issued

State Govt designated  competent authority to issue the Income and Asset Certificate in respect of the EWS who are not covered under the existing scheme of reservations for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes:

a. District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate of the area where the candidate or his family ordinarily resides

b. Revenue Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate or his family ordinarily resides

c. Tahsildar in charge of the taluk of the area where the candidate or his family ordinarily resides

Palliative Care by Local Bodies-Guidelines Revised

LSGD issued revised guidelines to conduct palliative programmes through Local Self Govt Institutions. The Guidelines will have effect from 01/04/2019 on wards.

Agriculture Pension Enhanced-Order Issued

As per the announcement made in the State Budget, the pension given to small and marginal farmers were enhanced to Rs 1200 per month. Govt also clarified that for the purpose of calculating annual income for agriculture pension only the annual income of applicant and spouse should be counted.
