National Digital Health Mission Statred

 

The 'One Nation One Health Card' will digitize the health records of all Indians, making patient data accessible and inclusive in one card.Under the aegis of the health card, a person's medical history, doctor consultations, diagnosis and prescribed treatment will be saved in a digital database. Hospitals, clinics and doctors will be linked to a central server. The medical history will only be accessible to the individual concerned or any authorized person, with the consent of the patient.

Guidelines for Conduct of General Election during COVID-19

rightimgElection Commission of India approved the broad guidelines for conduct of general/bye elections during COVID-19 period.The Commission has revised the norms of number of persons accompanying the candidate and number of vehicles at the time of nomination. It has also created optional facility to fill the nomination form and the affidavit online and submission of the same, after taking print, before the RO concerned. For the first time, the candidates will have the option to deposit security amount for contesting the elections online. Keeping the containment guidelines in view, the Commission has limited the number of persons including candidate for door to door campaign to five.

Kerala plans to provide tap connections to all rural households by 2023

rightimgUnion Minister of Jal Shakti, held discussion with Chief Minister of Kerala, regarding implementation of Jal Jeevan Mission in the State. The flagship programme aims to provide household tap connections in rural areas of the country. Potable water in adequate quantity and of prescribed quality to be provided to every rural household on regular and long-term basis, for which the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) is under implementation in partnership with States. The objective of the mission is universal coverage.

First time, Panchayat funds to be audited online

The Ministry of Panchayati Raj has decided to conduct an online audit of  2.5 lakh gram panchayats (GPs) across the country for the current financial year with a focus on how they used Finance Commission (FC) grants.,.The exercise, to be conducted through Audit Online, an application developed by the Ministry, is a bid to ensure accountability in the utilisation of funds at the ground level.The audit will be scaled up to cover all Panchayats across the country in the next financial year 2020-21.

Kerala Panchayat Raj (Amendment) Act, 2020 and Kerala Municipality (Amendment) Act, 2020 were came in to force, revising the strength of Local Self Govt Institutions in Kerala. As per the revision, Gramapanchayaths minimum wards changed from 13 to 14 and maximum from 23 to 24.

Unemployment Allowance-NREGS-Draft Rules Notified

Draft of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme Unemployment Allowance (Kerala) Rules, 2019 was published for general information. Objections and suggessions can be raised within 30days from the date of notification. The objections or suggestions, if any, shall be addressed to the Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Local Self Government Department, Secretariat Annexe-I, Thiruvananthapuram -695001.

Stamp Duty, Registration Fee Exempted For LSGI Land Purchase

The Government have decided to exempt from paying Registration Fee and Stamp Duty for the registration of land being purchased in the name of Local Self Government Institutions and land being donated by private persons to Government, Local Self Government Institutions, Government owned institutions, Public Sector Undertakings for public purpose.
