As per the direction issued by Kerala High Court, Govt decided to combine the post of Driver with that of peon. No change in Salary scale and allowances permitted.

Income Tax deduction, Anticipatory Income Called For.

Finance Department instructed all progressive tax payers to re calculate their anticipated tax in prescribed format, which is necessary for regulating the deduction of balance tax from the salary drawn for next four months.The revised statement should be submitted before 25/11/2015.

SC Promoters' Honorarium Enhanced

Govt decided to enhance honorarium given to SC Promoters attached to Local Self Govt Institutions. The rate was enhanced to Rs 7000 per month with effect from September 2015.

Central Govt decided to discontinue the Nirmal Grama Puraskar scheme, introduced to motivate local bodies to achieve Nirmal Status. Govt is formulating new scheme of incentivisation of state govts on the basis of performance in sanitation programmes.
