Though the age limit for Centrally Sponsored Scheme, Indira Gandhi National Old age Pension was lowered to 60 years, a confusion arisen due to the issue of a circular by Social welfare department. Now the Malappuram ADP issued letter to GP secretaries to sanction Old age Pension only to persons having age of 65, till clarification from Panchayath Director receives.
