As per the Mihir Shah Committee report Union ministry decided to revise the operational guidelines issued for MGNREGA on 2006. The draft operational guidelines were issued for suggestions and observations of state Govt. New suggestions like demand for work through kiosks, SMS alerts to employees were included.
