Finance department cancelled the controversial circular issued by Local self Govt department permitting Village Extension Officers to open bank accounts for implementing each projects. The circular was against the directions issued by Finance Deparment to all Drawing and Disbursement officers.

VEO is not a Drawing and Disbursement officer.No VEOs have any DDO code.Clarify this with Treasury officials

Who told u VEOs are not Drawing and Disbursement officers? Refer GO(P) No177/2006/fin Dtd 16/04/2006 VEOS are implementing officers and Drawing and Disbursement Officers

but how many veos have a DDO code? please dont think PD code and DDO codes are same and the one.
I mentioned about DDO code not PD code. Not VEOs but all drawing and disbursement officers have DDO codes. VEOs acting as implementing officers all have DDO codes
