The Subsidy guidelines issued for XIIth plan clearly states that all implementing officers should credit the subsidy amount to beneficiary's bank account. But so many implementing officers are dealing with individual DDs and crossed cheques still now. Govt seriously viewed the matter and issued circular to implementing officers especially Village Extension officers to credit the subsidy amount to beneficiary's bank account.
