Retirement @ 56 Order Issued

Finance Department issued notification to upgrade the age of retirement to 56 . Govt have clarified that the superannuation period of teachers will not count for service benefits.A teacher whose date of birth is 1st July and who attains the age of 56 years shall not continue in service till the end of the academic year.

e Fund Management System in MGNREGS

The Central Govt decided to introduce eFMS inorder to adress the issues related to delay in payment of wages in several states including Kerala. e-FMS will encompass the implementation of electronic fund transfer leveraging the Core Banking (CBS) infrastructure (NEFTI,RTGS) of commercial banks.  The process of updating the beneficiaries' Bank accounts in NREGASoft may be done by taking following 3 sequential steps:
  1). Updation of beneficiaries' bank account. .  

  2)  Verification of the beneficiaries' bank account details.
  3). Freezing of beneficiaries' bank account details in the NREGASoft.
