Bio Metric Attendance System-Directions Issued
Within 6 months Adhaar based Bio metric attendance system should be installed in all Govt Offices and Educational Institutions where salary was processed through SPARK Software. Govt issued further operational instructions as per the recommendation of the Technical committee constituted for this purpose.

Treasury Queue Bill Clearance-Instructions Issued
Finance Department issued detailed instructions for clearing bills and cheques set apart to Treasury Queue in the end of financial year. Financial allocation for clearing bills will be met from allotment for 2019-20 of LSGIs. Financial Sanction for Spill Over projects were also issued,which should also met from current financial year allocation.

Revised Dearness Allowance-Orders Issued
Finance Department issued orders revising Dearness allowance allowed to State Govt Employees and Teachers. Rate will be enhanced from the existing rate 15% to 17% from 01/01/2018 and again to 20% from 01/07/2018. The arrears of enhanced amount will be released in cash with the Salary for the month of April.

NRA Sanction from GPF - DDOs Authorised
Finance Department delegated all Drawing and Disbursement Officers to sanction Non Refundable Advance from General Provident Fund maintained by State Govt Employees and Teachers. The move will reduce the undue delay and inconvenience in sanctioning NRA/Conversion consequent on revision of pay and allowances of State Government Employees.

Reservation for Economically Weaker Section-Directions Issued
State Govt designated competent authority to issue the Income and Asset Certificate in respect of the EWS who are not covered under the existing scheme of reservations for the Scheduled Castes, the Scheduled Tribes and the Socially and Educationally Backward Classes:
a. District Magistrate/ Additional District Magistrate of the area where the candidate or his family ordinarily resides
b. Revenue Divisional Officer of the area where the candidate or his family ordinarily resides
c. Tahsildar in charge of the taluk of the area where the candidate or his family ordinarily resides

LSGD issued guidelines to implement Diamond Jubilee Fellowship Programme through LSGIs. The programme was developed to empower new generation in atrs and cultural programmes.
Agriculture Pension Enhanced-Order Issued
As per the announcement made in the State Budget, the pension given to small and marginal farmers were enhanced to Rs 1200 per month. Govt also clarified that for the purpose of calculating annual income for agriculture pension only the annual income of applicant and spouse should be counted.
