XIIIth Five Year Plan- Subsidy Guidelines Issued

LSGD issued modified subsidy guidelines for LSGIs for the formation of Annual Plan. Housing subsidy will be as per the guidelines issued by LIFE Mission. Govt permitted to adopt Govt Schemes' rate of subsidies for those not included in the new guidelines. In previous five year plans subsidy guidelines were finalized in september/october. But now govt action was at time and it may strengthen the plan formation process of LSGIs.

2017-18 Annual Plan Formation- Guidelines Issued

LSGD issued detailed guidelines to prepare annual plan of LSGIs for the year 2017-18. All LSGIs should earmark atleast 30% of plan fund to productive sector.Maximum 30% can be used to Infra sector.

IAY Incomplete Houses- Permission For Enhanced Subsidy

LSGD earlier allowed enhanced subsidy rates to incomplete houses for completion, other than IAY. Now Govt extended  the relaxation to IAY Houses also.

Financial Year Closing-Submission Of Bills -Directions Issued

To control rushing of bills during the end day of financial year ,Finance department issued directions to all drawing and disbursement officers.As per the directions All Heads of Departments and Drawing and Disbursing Officers have to present bills, cheques, challans etc. to the treasuries latest by 5 P.M. on 30-03- 2017. Any bill submitted after the above time limit will not be accepted.All controlling officers should ensure that the copies of letters of allotment to sub controlling officers, made out of the existing budget provisions, are submitted to the respective treasuries latest by 29/03/2017.

Services From Gramapanchayaths- Criteria approved

LSGD approved the guidelines and instructions for receiving various services rendered by Gramapanchayaths. The instructions were drafted and published by KILA. All the instructions should be included in the concerned software.

Transfer & Posting Of Govt Employees-Guidelines Approved

Kerala Govt approved the guidelines for  general transfer of State Govt Employees. General transfer should be completed before April 30th in non vacation depts and August 31st in vacation depts.

Rural Development- General Transfer 2017- Directions Issued

CRD issued detailed guidelines for the general transfer of employees of Rural Development Department, Kerala. Transfer applications should be submitted in prescribed form to the concerned Project Director/ Asst Development Commissioner (General) within 28/02/2017.Final list of officers eligible for transfer will be publishe on 5th April.

LIFE, Beneficiary Selection Survey- Directions Issued

LSGD issued detailed guidelines for the selection of new housing scheme implemented as a part of 'Navakerala Mission'. Survey will be conducted by Kudumbashree volunteers on 18th and 19th of February 2017. Survey will be based on SECC data and Landless Houseless list published by LSGIs.

LIFE Housing Scheme 3 Lakh Rs Assitance to General Beneficiaries

LSGD decided to allow Rs 3 Lakh as unit cost for LIFE housing scheme general beneficiaries. SC beneficieris unit cost were also increased and fixed as 4 lakh per house. Plintha area of houses built in LIFE Scheme was reduced to 600 sq feet.
