Revised Procurement Manual For LSGIs Draft Published
KILA published draft revised procurement manual for LSGIs. Suggestions can be made up to 16th August. This manual will be the basement for the procurement of goods and services by Local Self Govt institutions. So many difficulties in the on going manual were cleared in the revised manual.

തദ്ദേശസ്വയം'ഭരണസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളുടെ പന്ത്രണ്ടാം - പഞ്ചവത്സര പദ്ധതി (2012-2017) യുടെ 'ഭാഗമായി തദ്ദേശ'ഭരണ വകുപ്പ് പുറത്തിറക്കിയ പദ്ധതി ആസൂത്രണ മാര്‍ഗ്ഗരേഖയും സബ്‌സിഡിയും അനുബന്ധ വിഷയങ്ങളും സംബന്ധിച്ച മാര്‍ഗ്ഗരേഖയനുസരിച്ച് പൂര്‍ത്തീകരിച്ച രണ്ട് വാര്‍ഷിക പദ്ധതികളുടെ ആസൂത്രണത്തില്‍ പ്രായോഗികതല പ്രശ്‌നങ്ങളോ, പരിമിതികളോ ഉണ്ടായിട്ടുണ്ടെങ്കില്‍ അവ പരിശോധിച്ച് ആവശ്യമായ ഭേദഗതികളോട് കൂടി പരിഷ്‌ക്കരിച്ച മാര്‍ഗ്ഗരേഖ പുറപ്പെടുവിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി മാര്‍ഗ്ഗരേഖകളുടെ പരിഷ്‌ക്കരണത്തിനാവശ്യമായ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ സ്വരൂപിച്ച് കരട് പരിഷ്‌ക്കരണ റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് സംസ്ഥാന സര്‍ക്കാരിന് സമര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്നോടിയായി തദ്ദേശസ്വയംഭരണ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിലെ ജനപ്രതിനിധികള്‍/ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരില്‍ നിന്നും ഭേദഗതി നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ 'കില' ക്ഷണിച്ചു. നിര്‍ദ്ദേശങ്ങള്‍ ആഗസ്റ്റ് 17 നകം kilagstrg@gmail.com എന്ന ഇ-മെയില്‍ വിലാസത്തില്‍ അയയ്ക്കണം.

Oldage Pension Direct Cash Transfer - Guidelines issued
Finance Department issued detailed guidelines for the direct cash transfer of social welfare pensions to beneficiary's accounts. Three components of National Social Assistance Programme ie Indiragandhi National Oldage Pension, Indiragandhi National widow Pension, and Indiragandhi National Disability Pension, were included in the first phase.

Oldage Pension Income Limit raised to 3 Lakhs
Govt issued orders increasing the income limit for getting Old Age pension to Rs 3 Lakhs per year. There is no need for the applicant to be in the BPL list.

IAY 2013-14 State will contribute Rs 50000 per house
LSGD issued orders to contribute Rs 50000 per house as state share for Indira Awaas Yojana Housing scheme for the year 2013-14. Order clarifies that Central share will be Rs 70000 per house and the balance should be collected from Gramapanchayaths, Block Panchayaths and District Panchayath in the ratio 25:50:25.

High Level Meeting for Housing programmes in LSGIs
Decentralization Co Ordination Committee decided to convene a high level meeting presided by Chief Minister in the presence of Finance minister to discuss the issues relating House Construction and House Upgradation. The committee also decided not to revise PWD SOR relating to CPWD data during the current financial year.
