LIFE Incomplete Houses-Completion Time Extension

LSGD extended the time limit to complete Incomplete Houses Included in LIFE Ist phase to May 30th 2018.Detailed directions were issued to secretaries of all local bodies by LIFE Mission. After May 30th no bills in this regard will be honoured by treasuries.

Re Constitution Of Local Bodies- Committee Constituted

   Govt Of Kerala constituted committe to submit proposals for the reconstitution of Block Panchayaths and formation of new Gramapanchayaths and Municipalities. The committee was headed by Principal Director Of Local Self Govt Department.

LIFE Individual House-Implementation Calendar Fixed

LIFE mission fixed the programme calendar for the implementation of Individual Housing assistance scheme for those who have own land. As per the direction beneficiary meeting should be convened by the concerned local bodies before April 15th.Agreement should be executed before April 26th and 1st installment should be disbursed before May 1st.

LSGD issued detailed guidelines for the formation of 2018-19 Annual plan of LSGIs. As per the guidelines,annual plan should be sublitted to DPC within March 12th.

LSGD decided to freeze the revised procurement manual issued for the procurement of goods required in MahathmaGandhi NREGs works. Old procurement manual will be applicable to Gramapanchayaths for the procurement of articles for MahathmaGandhi NREGS.

LIFE Incomplete House-Permission to Utilize Maintanance Grant

LSGIs were permitted to utilize Non Road Maintanance grant for the completion of incomplete houses included in  LIFE Mission. Permission was issued to LSGIs which having no sufficient funds for the completion of incomplete houses.

SCP/TSP Projects Implementation-Instructions isssued

 LSGD issued instructions to unify rate and criteria of SC/ST projects implemented by SC/ST Departments and LSGIs.In the coming years Study Room projects should be implemented by LSGIs and SC/ST deparments jointly. Permission is also granted to all LSGIs to implement colony development programmes in the frame work of Ambedkar Rural Development Sceme.

As per the decision of Decentralization Co Ordination Committee, clarification was issued to LSGIs for extending meritorious scholorship to SC/ST students studying for professional courses having no entrance test.

Well Recharge- Unit Cost Revised

LSGD decided to  re fix Unit cost for individual well recharge structures as per SECURE software data. As per the new decision, unit cost was fixed to Rs 8000 and 8600 to plane and slope roofed houses respectively. Unit cost for well recharge structures in public institutions like school and hospitals were also fixed. Plane roof will have a maximum limit of Rs 20500 and sloped roof Rs 24500.

House Construction in Wet Land- Circular Issued

LSGD issued directions for issuing building permit and occupancy for residential buildings in wet land not coming under the Data Bank or Draft Data Bank. LSGI secretaries were directed to clear all the pending applications within one month.

Kudumbashree Election Guidelines Issued

  

LSGD issued detailed guidelines for conducting  CDS,ADS,NHG elections of Kudumbashree folder in a democratic manner. Election notification should be issued on 23rd December. Elections to the NHG s will be conducted from January 8 to 14th and elections to ADSs will be from 18th to 21st of January 2018. CDS election will be on 25th January 2018.
