Civil Supplies Department revised the criteria fixed for determining priority and non-priority category for Public Distribution System. As per the revised norms family having an annual income above Rs 25000 will be expelled from the priority category.

LIFE Housing- Creation Of Posts-Orders Issued

LSGD issued orders creating various posts at State and District levels for the smooth functioning of LIFE Housing Mission.Posts were filled on Deputation/Contract/Working arrangement basis and salary will be disbursed from the LIFE Mission Fund.

Keralotsavam 2017 Manual Published

Kerala Govt approved the manual prepared by Kerala State Youth Welfare Board for the conduct of Keralotsavam 2017. Grass root level competitions will be completed before September. Block level competiones were scheduled on October and district level competions on November. State level keralolsavam will be on December 2017.

LIFE Housing Scheme- Detailed Guidelines Issued

LSGD issued detailed guidelines for the implementation of LIFE housing scheme. List should be finalized before September. Housing Fund Account will be opened at LSGI level. Campaign mode implementation will be adopted for the successful completion of the targets.

LSGD issued revised procurement guidelines for the purchase for Mahathma Gandhi NREGA Works. Gramapanchayath level procurement committe re constituded with Assistant Secretary as Convenor. Suppliers will be selected and approved by Block Panchayaths.

SGSY Kudumbasree Trade Fare, Starts on August 30th

LSGD issued permission to conduct IRDP/SGSY/Kudumbashree Onam-Bakreed Trade Fare 2017. Fare starts on August 30th and ends on September 3rd. Fare will be conducted by District Panchayaths and Poverty Alleviation Units Jointly.

LIFE Housing List Publishing- Directions Issued

LIFE Mission meeting approved the guidelines for finalizing beneficiary list surveyed by Kudumbashree. As per the decision draft list will be published in all Local Self Govts by 30th July. LSGI level appeal can be filed up to August 10th. District level appeal can be submitted to District Collectors up to August 25th.

Complaint Box In LSGIs Orders Issued

LSGD decided to install Complaint Boxes in all Local Self Govt Institutions to receive complaints and suggessions from the public. Detailed Guidelines was issued by Govt. Performance Audit officals were deputed to enquior about the complaints and take remedial measures.

Subsidy Guidelines-Amendments Issued

Considering the feedback received from stakeholders LSGD issued certain modifications in the Subsidy Guidelines issued for the preparation of 13th Five Year Plan. Consolidated pay rates were included for the eligible honorarium employees. Palliative care projects were allowed to block pancahayaths in participation with Community Health Centers.

2017-18 Plan Project Entry Enabled in SULEKHA Software

LSGD made sufficient changes in SULEKHA Software for the data entry of  Plan Projects of LSGIs. Certain Implementing Officers were deleted and new added. New micro sector codes were also allowed as per the new Subsidy Guidelines.

XIIIth Five Year Plan- Subsidy Guidelines Issued

LSGD issued modified subsidy guidelines for LSGIs for the formation of Annual Plan. Housing subsidy will be as per the guidelines issued by LIFE Mission. Govt permitted to adopt Govt Schemes' rate of subsidies for those not included in the new guidelines. In previous five year plans subsidy guidelines were finalized in september/october. But now govt action was at time and it may strengthen the plan formation process of LSGIs.

LSGD issued detailed guidelines to prepare annual plan of LSGIs for the year 2017-18. All LSGIs should earmark atleast 30% of plan fund to productive sector.Maximum 30% can be used to Infra sector.
