Stamp Duty Revised Notification Issued
Kerala finance Act 2015 notified revising the stamp duty levied for all agreements to Rs 200. Later during Budjet speech Stamp duty for agreements executed by LSGIs were enhanced to Rs 500.

അധികാര വികേന്ദ്രീകരണത്തിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞ 20 വര്‍ഷത്തിനുള്ളില്‍ നടപ്പാക്കിയ വികസന-ക്ഷേമ-സേവന പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങളുടെ സമഗ്രമായ ഡോകുമെന്റേഷന്‍ പൊന്നാനി ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്തില്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയായി. ഇതോടെ സംസ്ഥാനത്ത് ഈ നേട്ടം കൈവരിക്കുന്ന ആദ്യ ത്രിതല പഞ്ചായത്തായി പൊന്നാനി ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത്. പൊന്നാനി ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് സെക്രട്ടറി പി.കെ. അനൂപ് കില എക്സ്റ്റന്‍ഷന്‍ ഫാക്കല്‍റ്റി കെ. ഗോപാലകൃഷ്ണന് ബ്ലോക്കിലെ ഡോക്യുമെന്റെഷന് രേഖകള്‍ കൈമാറി. ടി. പ്രകാശന്‍, പി.വി. സജികുമാര്‍ എന്നിവര്‍ പങ്കെടുത്തു. സെമിനാറുകളും ശില്‍പശാലയും നടത്തിയ ശേഷമാണ് പൊന്നാനി ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്ത് നിശ്ചിത സമയത്തിനകം ഡോകുമെന്റേഷന്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയത്. 20 വര്‍ഷം കൊണ്ടണ്‍് ബ്ലോക്കിലുണ്ടണ്‍ായ വികസനത്തിന്റെയും നേട്ടങ്ങളുടെയും കോട്ടങ്ങളുടെയും നേര്‍കാഴ്ചയും ഇതിനോടകം ഭരണം നടത്തിയവരുടെ ചിത്രങ്ങളുമടങ്ങിയ ഡോകുമെന്റേഷന്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് നേതൃത്വം നല്‍കിയത് കിലയാണ്്. നിശ്ചിത സമയത്തിനകം പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കിയ ബ്ലോക്കിന് കിലയുടെ പ്രത്യേക അഭിന്ദനവും ലഭിച്ചു.
CoOrdination committee allowed Project revision
Decentralization Co Ordination committee permitted all local self govt Institutions to revise all annual plan projects, except e-tender projects. Later revision was restricted to certain sectors like Solid waste management, natural calamities etc.

Onam Advance, Onam Bonus, Festival Allowance, Orders Issued
Finance department issued orders sanctioning onam bonus @Rs 3500 to state govt employees and teachers. Festival allowance @ Rs 2200 were sanctioned to those employees who didn;t get onam bonus. Onam advance Rs 10000 were also sanctioned and will be re collected in 5 equal installments.

Integrated watershed Management Programme (IWMP) merged to Pradhanmanthri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY)
Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) has been formulated amalgamating ongoing schemes viz. Accelerated Irrigation Benefit Programme (AIBP) of Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation; Integrated Watershed Management Programme (IWMP) of Department of Land Resources; and On Farm Water Management (OFWM) component of National Mission on Sustainable Agriculture (NMSA) of Department of Agriculture and Cooperation. PMKSY is to be implemented in an area development approach, adopting decentralized state level planning and projectised execution, allowing the states to draw their irrigation development plans based on district/blocks plans with a horizon of 5 to 7 years. States can take up projects based on the District/State Irrigation Plan. All the States and Union Territories including North Eastern States are covered under the programme.Click here to view draft guidelines

സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ 152 ബ്ലോക്കുപഞ്ചായത്തുകളുടെ അന്തിമ പട്ടിക പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചതായി ഗ്രാമവികസന മന്ത്രി കെ.സി.ജോസഫ് അറിയിച്ചു. ജൂണ്‍ 29-ന് പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ച കരട് പട്ടികയിന്‍മേല്‍ ആക്ഷേപങ്ങളും അഭിപ്രായങ്ങളും ശേഖരിച്ച് ഇതിലേക്കായി നിയോഗിച്ച ഉദ്യോഗതല സമിതി പരാതിക്കാരെ നേരില്‍ കേട്ടാണ് അന്തിമ പട്ടിക പ്രസിദ്ധീകരിച്ചിട്ടുള്ളത്. ബ്ലോക്ക് പഞ്ചായത്തിന്റെ എണ്ണം നിശ്ചയിച്ച് ഡിവിഷന്‍ വിഭജനം രണ്ടാഴ്ചക്കുള്ളില്‍ പൂര്‍ത്തിയാക്കാന്‍ സാധിക്കുമെന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നതായും മന്ത്രി പറഞ്ഞു.

LSGIs ignores Productive Sector - Comptroller & Auditor General Of India
Audit report of C&AG on the performance of Local Self Govt Institutions of Kerala, ending March 2014, clearly indicates the negligence of productive sector. LSGIs have spent only 7.5% of total expenditure to productive sector in 2013-14. Central Govt allocation to LSGIs were incresing. The report explains LSGIs are not interested to increase their own funds by collecting local taxes and fees. So many professionals like Doctors ,Advocates and Engineers are out of professional tax net.
