IAY No state share in 2014-15 Clarification Issued

 LSGD issued orders clarifying that full share, above central share, for Indira Awas  Yojana Housing programme should be earmarked by the three tier panchayaths. No state share will be given during 2014-15 and it is mandatory to allocate the balance amount by LSGIs.

MGNREGS wage enhanced to Rs 212

Central Govt decided to enhance the wage rate given to MGNREGS employees with effect from 2014 April 1st. As per the revised rates the employees belonging to Kerala will get Rs 212as wages per day.

SECC Direction for generating new draft list

 CRD issued detailed directions to generate new draft list of families in the Socio Economic caste Census 2011, due to the up gradation of software as per the request of State Nodal Officer. Charge Officers should ensure that all families enumerated should be listed in the draft list.

Work shalln't be denied on the ground of non possession of AADHAR

 Ministry Of Rural  Development clarified that no job card holder shall be denied work on the ground of non possession of AADHAR card or Bank Account.It is the duty of Program me Officer to assist workers to enroll into AADHAR. No worker shall be forced to migrate to bank accounts from post office accounts.

Village Extension Officers Final Seniority List Published

State wide seniority list of II Grade Village Extension officers, appointed  during 30/07/2012 to 31/03/2011 were published. The rank and seniority of the candidate selected for the post were made according to the order in which their name appear in the advice list given by the KPSC, if they completed the Pre Service Training satisfactorily and pass the exam in their first chance. In the event those who does n't completed the training within the stipulated period or does not passed in the first chance, the rank and seniority were altered on the basis of the date of advice and the date of successful completion of training .

Valuation Should be done by Overseers

LSGD decided to replace the charge to take valuation of beneficiary oriented schemes from Assistant Engineers to Overseers. As per the new decision valuation of house repairs can be done by the Overseers as in the previous years.

Social Justice Department issued clarification regarding the date from which social welfare pensions were sanctioned. The applicants are eligible for pension from the date of submission of application to the concerned LSGI.

Booth Level Officers- January 24 & 25 - Duty Leave allowed

  Govt issued circular instructing all Heads of Departments to treat January 24th & 25th as duty in respect of the officials appointed by Election Commission as Booth Level Officers (BLO) for the preparation and for attending Public Functions in connection with the National Voters' Day.

IHHL- MGNREGS component increased

 Due to the amendment in the Schedule I&II of MGNREG Act, Govt of india decided to increase the MGNREGA component provided to Individual House Hold Latrines from the present 4500 Rs to Rs 5400.

MGNREGS New works included

MORD amended the Schedule I&II of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act, to include new items of works. As per the new Guidelines, works are categorized from Category A to Category D. Construction of Buildings for Gramapanchayaths, Kudumbasree CDS can be taken under MGNREGA. Production of Building materials were also included in the list.

IAY Housing in Coastal Areas Exemption in Plinth Area

  LSGD issued orders to exempt the minimum plinth area limit of IAY houses constructing in coastal areas. As per the new direction, beneficiaries can construct houses with plinth area below 25 Sq M. in CRZ area.
