Land Registration before 4th instalment Orders issued
Land registration in favour of gramapanchayaths by the housing beneficiaries should be made only before getting 4th installment. Earlier it was before getting 3rd installment. Govt: issued orders amending it.
IAY 2013-14 State will contribute Rs 50000 per house
LSGD issued orders to contribute Rs 50000 per house as state share for Indira Awaas Yojana Housing scheme for the year 2013-14. Order clarifies that Central share will be Rs 70000 per house and the balance should be collected from Gramapanchayaths, Block Panchayaths and District Panchayath in the ratio 25:50:25.

ഗ്രാമപഞ്ചായത്തുകളില്‍ 300 ചതുരശ്രമീറ്റര്‍ വരെ വിസ്തീര്‍ണ്ണമുള്ള കെട്ടിടങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് പെര്‍മിറ്റ് നല്‍കുമ്പോള്‍ അവ സാങ്കേതിക വിദഗ്ദ്ധരുടെ ശുപാര്‍ശയിന്‍മേല്‍ മാത്രമേ പഞ്ചായത്തു സെക്രട്ടറിമാര്‍ നല്‍കാവൂ എന്നു നിര്‍ദ്ദേശിച്ച് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ സര്‍ക്കുലര്‍ പുറപ്പെടുവിച്ചു. പെര്‍മിറ്റ് നല്‍കേണ്ട ചുമതല 2010 ഡിസംബര്‍ മുതല്‍ അസിസ്റ്റന്റ് എഞ്ചിനീയര്‍മാരില്‍ നിക്ഷിപ്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍ നടപടികളില്‍ കാലതാമസമുണ്ടാകുന്നുവെന്ന പരാതിയെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് നിര്‍മ്മാണാനുമതി നല്‍കാന്‍ 2012 മാര്‍ച്ചില്‍ പഞ്ചായത്ത് സെക്രട്ടറിമാര്‍ക്ക് നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം നല്‍കി. സാങ്കേതിക വിദഗ്ദ്ധരുടെ ശുപാര്‍ശ കൂടാതെയും സ്ഥലപരിശോധന നടത്താതെയും നിര്‍മ്മാണാനുമതി നല്‍കുന്നതായി സീനിയര്‍ ടൗണ്‍ പ്ലാനര്‍ (വിജിലന്‍സ്) സര്‍ക്കാരിന് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് സമര്‍പ്പിച്ചതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്നാണ് സാങ്കേതിക വിദഗ്ദ്ധരുടെ ശുപാര്‍ശയിന്‍മേല്‍ മാത്രമേ കെട്ടിട നിര്‍മ്മാണത്തിന് അനുമതി നല്‍കാവൂ എന്ന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ നിര്‍ദ്ദേശം നല്‍കിയിട്ടുള്ളത്

NOC on retirement Clarification issued
LSGD issued clarification for issuing No Objection Certificates to employees who have audit objections while they retire from Govt service. As per the new direction NOC will be issued only after rectifying the audit objection.

Indira Avaas Yojana Revised Guidelines issued
Ministry Of Rural Development issued revised guidelines to implement IAY Housing scheme durindg12th five year plan.IAY house has to be ‗pucca‘ in the sense that it should be able to withstand normal wear and tear due to usage and natural forces including climatic conditions, with reasonable maintenance, for at least 30 years. Guidelines emphasis providing greater role to the Panchayats especially at the village level in the planning and implementation of the housing programme.
