Insurance Department revised the SLI premium of employees and pay ranges due to Pay revision. Revision will come with effect from 01/04/2012 ie Salary of march 2012.

Govt Business to all private sector Banks

        With a view to enhancing the quality of customer service in Government business through more competition, improving customer convenience by increasing the number of customer service outlets and broad basing the revenue collection and payments mechanism of Governments, the existing policy was recently reviewed by RBI and it has been decided that all private sector banks will now be considered eligible to handle any Central/State Government business (where RBI pays agency commission) at par with public sector banks.Allowing Govt business to HDFC,ICICI & Axis bank by finance Minister Sri: K.M.Mani was seriously discussed in Kerala Politics.

RTI-2005-No Answers to'WHY'

The High Court of Bombay at Goa clarified that the definition of information in RTI act 2005 cannot include within its fold answers to the questions 'WHY'.
